Publisher's Invitational Fall Color Week

In October 2016 and 2017 I attended Fall Color Week, sponsored by Eric Rhoads and Plein Air Magazine, in Acadia National Park In Maine. These events provided a week of plein air painting with artists from around the country in a truly beautiful setting.

Plein Air Convention and Expo

In April 2018 I attended the Plein Air Convention and Expo in Santa Fe. Once again, this was an opportunity to paint with other artists, but especially to attend numerous informative presentations and demonstrations by some of the best professional artists working in plein air today.

Georgian Bay, Ontario

For over 48 years I have had the good fortune to be able to paint the landscape of Georgian Bay in Ontario. Probably more than any other experience, this has influenced my painting in terms of subject matter and emotion.
